Feeling ‘Off’? Try This 15 Minute Meditation

People are busy. From work to family to relationships, taking care of yourself is often pushed to the back burner. This might be fine for a little bit, but after a while, anxiety, body aches, and a general “off” feeling will probably catch up to you. 

That’s why it’s important to check in with the body and mind. Do your shoulders hurt? Maybe you slept on them wrong, but maybe it’s because tensions in your life are manifesting in your body. Take a second to relax your shoulders away from your ears. Do you feel any different? 

If you’re feeling off, or just want to regroup, I recommend this quick 14-minute meditation by Yoga With Adriene. She is one of the most popular yogis on YouTube, and with good reason. She is an excellent teacher and relatable to the everyday person. 

And yes, the title is Meditation for Anxiety, but it is for anyone and everyone looking to take care of themselves. 

PS: I’ve been very busy since the New Year (Happy New Decade!), and I have a few blog posts in the works that I’ve been sitting on because they are not quite “perfect” yet. But, this is a reminder to myself that not everything has to be perfect; speak your truth and get your words out there for in case someone needs to hear it.
